How is the photoshoot going?

At the appointed time, we meet at the chosen location. If the shooting takes place in a photo studio, you need to come a little in advance (5-10 minutes) in order to have time to change clothes and enter the hall on time.

If several people take part in the photoshooting, I take not only joint photos, but also devote time to individual and couple shots. I also devote some time to details, whether it is the leaves of trees in the park or elements of clothing and decor. This is necessary in order to maintain a complete picture of what is happening. I usually shoot the details while you change the outfit. By the way, in an hour we manage to shoot 2-3 outfits in the studio, and 1-2 on a photo walk.

During the shooting, I help you with posing, literally telling you which foot to put and where to look 😊 I also sometimes show you “references”, i.e. examples of photos prepared by me in advance that we can repeat. You can also find references online and show them to me before or during the shoot.

I use different lenses in order to take diverse photos, so I sometimes change them during the shooting process. And I can also run far away, or vice versa, come close — all for the sake of variety!)

At the photoshoot, we communicate in a relaxed friendly atmosphere 🤗

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with Canon 6D Mark II and several different lenses: Sigma 35 mm 1.4 Art, Canon 85 mm 1.8, Canon 10-18 mm 4.5-5.6, Canon 24-70 mm 2.8L II.

I also take a spare camera for shooting (just in case!))

To select and retouch photos, I use a MacBook on the M1 processor and programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.

How to book a shoot?

A prerequisite for booking a wedding shoot is signing an agreement and making an advance payment in the amount of 5000₽ / 100€.

Shorter photoshoots are booked with a prepayment of 1000₽ / 60€ directly through a personal chat with me ✌🏻

How many photos will we receive and how long does processing take?

For an hour of walking or studio shooting, about 100 finished photos are obtained. Retouching takes up to 14 days depending on the number of shoots 🙃

If we are talking about wedding shooting, the waiting period is about one month, and the number of photos is at least 50 for each hour of shooting (as a rule, it turns out more).

How many photos will be retouched?

All photos are processed!)

Each frame will be correctly cropped, corrected for color and light, brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness and many other parameters will be adjusted. And close-up portraits, in which unwanted skin nuances can be seen, will be subjected to retouching — that is, the elimination of minor imperfections 👌🏻

Is it possible to reduce the waist in the photo, increase the lips, or “photoshop” the husband, who could not come?

I don’t do unnatural retouching, I don’t work with body plastic, and in general I do retouching in principle only close-up portraits (just so as not to focus on the nuances of the skin). I remove pimples, scratches, even out skin tone, and I don’t do magazine beauty retouching. Why?

Because I’m a photographer! And photography is not plastic surgery and not a time machine.

A photograph preserves the most wonderful moments of your life, so that after many, many years you’ll see how beautiful, smiling and young you were, how sweet and carefree your child was, and how affectionately your parents looked at you. It’s in capturing the truth of today’s beautiful day that the work of the photographer lies.

So the answer to the question is no. But! I can send the photos you have chosen for such retouching to retouchers for a fee. By the way, in most cases, all these minor little things are easily corrected by properly selected clothes, hairstyle and makeup (and the presence of a husband 😄).

In what form will we receive the photos?

I upload the photos to the cloud storage of my website and send you an individual download link. Photos on the site will be presented in the form of a beautiful gallery, which you can share with friends and relatives. The link will work for three months from the date of sending (for weddings — at least six months), during which time you will need to download all the photos to your computer by simply clicking on the button. You can also download photos to your cloud storage.

You can also download smaller copies of photos that take up less memory — they can be used, for example, for social networks. Photos in original size are suitable for printing, for viewing on large screens and for social networks too.

Can we get the source photos?

My sources are “raw” material in .cr2 format. Such photos are not ready for use and publication, they are intended for professional processing in certain programs and will not even open on every computer 🙃 And they also weigh an awful lot!

In the language of film photographers, such footage not yet developed! Therefore, I prefer not to give the source: instead of “undeveloped” photos, you will get a lot of high-quality finished photos. Nothing of value will be deleted — this isn’t in my interests.

In which case can we return the prepayment for a photoshoot?

The prepayment for the photoshoot is refundable if you cancel it earlier than three days in advance.

The prepayment is also refundable in case of bad weather conditions, provided that it isn’t possible to reschedule the shoot to another date. You can also reschedule a photoshoot once for free for other reasons.

Prepayment for wedding photography is refundable if you cancel services earlier than 30 days before the date of the event.

Do you shoot video?

No, I’m a photographer, not a videographer 😌 

I can advise you on videographers who are professionally engaged in video shooting. Everyone is doing their own thing!) It's impossible to shoot both at the same time — you will definitely miss important moments.

How to prepare for photoshoot?

After you book a photoshoot, I send you a detailed guide on preparing for shooting, where all the questions are sorted out.

Briefly, it is advisable to prepare like this:

▫️ Choose harmonious, matching outfits for all participants in the photoshoot (for studio shooting, I recommend choosing two or even three outfits)

▫️ Sign up with a makeup artist, or work out your makeup and styling well

▫️ Before the day of the photoshoot, get a good night’s sleep, and before the shoot itself, feed all the participants 😃

▫️ Take a comb, cosmetics, napkins, a mirror with you

▫️ Check the route to the shooting location in advance and leave the house on time!)
