Hello!
I’m Ekaterina Osintseva and I’m a photographer 😊
I was born in Russia, in the western city of Kaliningrad. The noise of the cool Baltic Sea, the piercing wind and the paving stones wet from the rain — this is what I know from childhood.
When you grow up in a city where the number of clear days can be counted on your fingers, you begin to appreciate everything sunny, tender and bright even more. Perhaps, just because of this, my photos are just like that! 💛
Although many say that they are just the same as me! 😄 I won’t flatter myself, I'll only say that I’m a benevolent and friendly person. And also very responsible!
A few more facts about me that will help you get to know me a little better.
▫️ I’ve been creative since childhood: for six years I danced in a choreographic ensemble, and after that I became a drummer and played in a group for five years. In high school and university years, I directed theater productions and shot video clips ✌🏻
▫️ I’m a communications engineer by education. In 2021, I got a master’s degree with honors in “Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems” from the Baltic Federal University.
▫️ In my school days, I sometimes photographed friends, and I made the decision to become a photographer after my third year at university. And this, I think, is one of the best decisions in my life! 💛
▫️ In addition to photography, until recently I worked as an engineer in a television company — I aired local news releases! But three years later, I decided to leave TV and devote myself exclusively to photography.
▫️ I really love to develop in my work! I can’t count how many courses I took and how many master classes I watched. I was also on the other side of training: a speaker at a photography marathon.
▫️ I get inspiration from travel and beautiful movies. I also enjoy board games, reading books and listening to music — mostly alternative rock.
▫️ In 2022, my husband and I decided to try to live in another country, new to me, of which he is a citizen. So I ended up in wonderful Vilnius and now I’m shooting here 😊
▫️ On Instagram, I share tips & ideas and talk about the everyday life of a photographer. I also post backstages from the shootings and funny reels, announce “photodays” and sometimes even arrange photoshoot raffles. I encourage you to subscribe if you haven’t already!)
